My favorite day of the week

SUNDAY

Previously, Jana and I made a card for a friend but it never got to her. So, K and I met up this afternoon to make a brand new one (upon request from her), which in my opinion looks better than the previous one! Gathering all those materials from Art Friend and Spotlight before settling down at Starbucks @The Cathay with a Green Tea Latte, we found ourselves digging for scraps of paper due to the limited colors that I have. Thank God for those coffee brochures and recycled bags, the card was completed within a very small budget.

Making our way to PS Cafe @Paragon, K and I were fairly amused by the surrounding people. I remembered there was this lady in killer heels and an ultra mini shirtdress. My oh my, you should have seen the size of audience she has attracted. And then there was this hooker which I could not take my eyes off. HA.

So, we ordered the famous Blackout or doorstop cake which K has been dying to taste and a Dark plum and berry tart. Unfortunately, the berry tart tasted really, I mean like extremely sour despite the company of good O' vanilla ice cream. I literally choked upon its sourness after a few mouthfuls :( The Blackout cake was undeniably good, rich and generously fudged- I would call it our Knight in shining armor. Oh yes, we were that close to grabbing a slice of coffee colored cake off the shelve when the waiter was busy with his closing procedures, but damn we chickened out eventually.

All too soon, this day came to an end. We parted with a hug, and a promise to see each other on Tuesday! Times like this, I wish they'll never end. God, I just realised that this entry sounded very much like a descriptive essay. Oh well, looks like it's time for breakfast! It's 11:07 and im signing out, till then people xx.

I don't get it, how can people spell 'weird' as 'wierd'. And fail to differentiate 'brought' and 'bought'. Like, I brought a gorgeous bag from Prada when it is obviously bought? Unless you're telling me that you have brought your gorgeous Prada bag?

What senseless people, laugh at them. Nah, I'm not so mean but this means that we should make an effort to brush up on our language(s). And I failed to visit the library again, kinda need a companion. Hmmm.

Glee

Right, my fellow buddy is requesting for a speedy update so here it is.

Well, I cant believe almost half of the year has past. It's been.. a pretty good year so far, particularly since graduation. I have been enjoying myself, hanging out with my favorite bunch of people, working for leisure, not stressing out at all well maybe just a little initially but my mind is totally carefree now. Learning to attain the peace of mind was of course not easy, but I figured I should quit worrying.

And so I'm just pinning all my hopes on getting into UoN, swear I'll study real hard this time and not get distracted by some annoying cute boy. Haha. Actually I thought maybe I could push hard for Honours but apparently one needs to get like 5.0 to be accepted which is ridiculous and highly impossible. Okay, maybe miracles can happen. Right.

Recently, I have been meeting up with K, for movies, shopping, manicures and all things girly. I really like how we share a lot of things in common, and she is less attached to her boyfriend. No what I meant was, she has plenty of time for me! So I wanna bring her to many places, possibly around the world when we grow older! Oh did I mention we take delight in desserts so much that we'll simply skip the main course for that? Whatever diet girls, go starve yourself and be pretty. K, if you're reading this, lets go to TWG Tea at Ion the next time for sweet treats!

To everyone who is working extra hard, remember all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Life is short, enjoy your coffee and relish every moment ;) till then, xx.
