Tea & Flea.

IMG_1896IMG_1910IMG_1912IMG_1915IMG_1954

So, I had quite a number of activities going on last week, the most memorable ones being high tea with K on Monday as well as the flea on Saturday. The English high tea buffet at Le Espresso was pretty decent, in fact the spread was much better than the one at The Courtyard. And according to K, it was also better than Tea Lounge at The Regent. However, their ambience and decor were not as impressive. But what I really like at Le Espresso, was their savoury section rather than the sweet one, for instance, their mini croissants, burgers and meatballs. The next place for high tea will have to be Chihuly Lounge, which I've been dying to try for the past couple of months but I've yet to due to their disappointing telephone service and fully booked weekdays. Well, I shall try my luck again, soon.

Flea on Saturday was spectacular, we earned quite a bit from the Saturday crowd. And a couple of my girls dropped by which made me really happy :D Because I still have clothes enough for another flea or two, we will probably be joining again on the first Saturday of October! Pretty stoked about it!

And two days ago, I met up with P and his boss, Frederic Sai, and there was also Eric Lim, the blogger! It was nice getting to know them, they were both really bubbly, no airs or whatsoever. Fred was talking/complaining a lot about P and his work etiquette, it was hilarious. Towards the later part of the night, it was just P and I... dating :) Caught the Kumar show, had some good o' fish and chips before heading back at half past midnight.

Speaking of which, P and I have been together for 11 months! Wow, it's gonna be our first year anniversary next month :) Even though it has been a very dramatic journey, we still survived the tidal waves and made it to shore, together. Life wouldn't be the same without you furbs, I loveeeeee you! X

Dreams meaning

Why do I dream of exams lately? I decided to hit Google and this was what I got.

To dream that you are taking an exam indicates that you are being put to the test or being scrutinized in some way. Such dreams highlight your feelings of being anxious and agitated. You may find that you cannot answer any of the questions on the test or that the test is in some foreign language. Is time running out and you find that you can not complete the exam in the allowed time? Or are you late to the exam? Does your pencil keep breaking during the exam? Such factors contribute to you failing this test. These dreams usually have to do with your self-esteem and confidence or your lack of. You are worried that you are not making the grade and measuring up to other people's expectations of you. You may also experience the fear of not being accepted, not being prepared, or not being good enough. You feel nervous, insecure and tend to believe the worst about yourself.

These dreams also suggest that you may feel unprepared for a challenge. Rarely, are these dreams about the content of the test, but rather the process and how you are feeling during the exam taking process. Generally, you feel distressed and frustrated. These feelings may parallel how you are feeling in a particular challenge or situation in your waking like.

Dreams of this nature are also an indication that you are being judged and this dream is a signal for you to examine an aspect of yourself that you may have been neglecting and need to pay attention to. You may harbour some guilt because of your neglect in preparation for a school exam, meeting, business project, or some challenge. Most of the time, though, people who have such dreams are unlikely to fail a test in real life. This dream goes back to their fear and own anxiety that they may not meet other's standards of them. They are afraid to let others down.

Now I know why. These insecurities are eating me alive, even in my dreams :(

A Butter night gone wrong

IMG_7068IMG_7087IMG_7095IMG_7092IMG_7093IMG_7100

So Butter last friday was a major disaster, especially towards the second half of the night. Well, my girls had a wee bit too much and they became uhhh... intoxicated and uncontrollable. Okay, maybe just one of them. Nevertheless, that marked my first and last time partying without P. And I really hated the taste of alcohol, omg graveyard was horrible... and don't even get me talking about the shots we had. The smell of it was enough to induce vomit, yuck. Honestly, I would rather spend a night with them at a pub, or just at my pool side. The people at the dance floor were as disgusting as the shots we had... I guess this is why my friends had more alcohol than I did, to make everything more interesting. But I just wanted P :'( In short, I never should have agreed to partying at all... should have insisted on just dinner or lunch or tea or whatever. Argh.

Oh well, least I'm getting a treat by them two next week :D

Good morning everyone. I was just rummaging my wardrobe once more to check if there's anything else I would like to sell next Saturday. Oh in case you don't know, J, L and I are participating in the Scape bazaar next week, 8th Sept. Be sure to drop by and give us tons of support! No freebies for you guys, but bargaining is allowed? I don't know, does that appeal to y'all? Lol.

Anyway, I haven't been doing much for these few weeks aside from hanging out with my girlfriends and of course, P. I've been a bummer for almost three weeks now, and mom is kinda bugging me to get a part time job. I strongly believe that my allowance will be cut anytime soon, without prior warning, yikes. And Weiling is back in Dublin; didn't get to spend as much time with her as I wanted to, like last Summer :'( But she will be back in town for 3 weeks before 2012 comes to an end, so I can catch up with her then.

I was just complaining how I didn't enjoy Butter last week, yet I find myself agreeing to another Butter night with G and L. Well, I can only hope for a less disappointing experience this Friday, cross fingers! Farewell dinner for xxx is on Sunday, ermmm YAY? Oh, and I'm leaving for Japan with my family in October for about a week or so, I hope it will be fun because granny is tagging along and I was instructed to share a room with her... Errr okay, I shall/will be nice.

Update soon, x.
